My view on books… (Review) – Part 2

The Notebook – Nicholas Spark

A Romantic novel. Never ever thought I would enjoy a romantic story. This is a must-read for Romantic story lovers. The story just goes beyond the imaginable love and makes the reader feel the everlasting and eternal love between Noah and Allie.

Tuesdays with Morrie – Mitch Albom

Definitely a self-help book but totally from a different dimension of life. This book helps the reader look at life from a dying old man’s point of view. If the reader puts himself/herself in the shoes of the old man, he would relate to a lot of ideologies in his/her life.

The Righteous Life: The Very Best of A.P.J Abdul Kalam – Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam

Being an admirer of Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam, this book is a must-read. Recommended for every Indian citizen to realize his role in making India a developed nation. This book is a collection of the best writings and lectures by Kalam. The reader will definitely be inspired and motivated to reach great heights in whatever he/she is doing and make oneself feel responsible for the growth of India.

Something Happened on the Way to Heaven – Sudha Murthy

Everyone in this world has their own struggles. The intensity of the problem may vary. However, in order to appreciate one’s blessings, amidst the struggles, we really need to step into the shoes of others who are in life or death situations. This is one book I would recommend to understand the various dimensions of the problem that life could bring and gain all the mental strength from those who practically have faced them as well.
